As student learn the result of the university entrance exams and try to decide where and which university to go to for studying abroad, HIT, the first and leading "study abroad" education counseling company, is there to help these students via the "University Office Days."

What is the difference between "University Office Days" and study abroad fairs held in Turkey?
As you know the study abroad fairs are the general meeting points for all types of student and participants from universities and language schools through the year. In comparison, "University Office Days" are private meetings, face to face, between the universities and the prospective students, who have come to final decision making phase and are simply focusing on which school to choose.

The Importance of September
Every year more than 1.5 million student take the exam and only 400,000 of them are places at universities. Many may already have plans to study abroad and along with them many more must make their decision. This time is at the beginning of September, when summer vacations end and parents and students return to Istanbul and Ankara. As they search for other education alternatives, "University Office Days" are the best and most convenient opportunity, both for the students and the universities.

The Performance - Results
Our experience with some universities has been that they chose two out of three of all their students from Turkey from these types of activities. This is the reason why we decided to organize "University Office Days," on a larger and come to any of the days from September 1st to September 10th, to Istanbul or to Ankara, or to both cities.

  • Advertisements in major Turkish newspapers.
  • Additional media coverage at major TV and radio stations.
  • Invitations, flyers and posters distibuted at high schools, universities, shopping malls and movie theatres.
  • Direct e-mail invitations to thousand of students at HIT's database.
  • Announcements and banners placed four weeks proir to the event at major abroad websites.
